The 13th Annual General Meeting of Godavari Urban Multistate Credit Co-operative Society Ltd., Nanded concluded on 27 September 2026 with great enthusiasm at the auditorium of Bharat E-Square, Mira Arcade. On this occasion, farmer leader & former MLA Mr. Shankar anna Dhondge Sir, Founder & Cabinet Minister Mr. Hemant Patil Sir,MLA Mr. Balajirao Kalyankar, MLA Anandrao Bondarkar, Chairperson Mrs. Rajshree Patil, Vice Chairperson Mrs. Hemlata Desale, Managing Director Mr. Dhananjay Tambekar, Secretary Adv. Godavari Urban organised a collective singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ at its Sahakarsurya Head Office on the eve of Independence Day, marking its 150th anniversary and supporting the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
The programme was attended by Managing Director Dhananjay Tambekar, Secretary Adv. Ravindra Ragate, Directors Prof. Suresh Katkamwar, Mrs. Varsha Deshmukh and Mr. Sahebrao Mamilwad, Vasant Cooperative Sugar Factory Chairman Mr. Ajay Deshmukh, along with senior officials, branch managers and employees.
The event concluded with patriotic slogans of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, strengthening the spirit of national unity and patriotism.

Godavari Urban has received the National “Banking Excellence Award 2025” as the Best Credit Co-operative Society for its contribution to MSME development. The award was conferred by the Chamber of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (CIMSME).
The ceremony was held in the presence of Union Commerce and Industry Minister Mr. Piyush Goyal.The award was presented to Assistant General Manager Ravi Ingale and Senior Marketing Manager Mahesh Kendre. The achievement reflects Godavari Urban’s growing national reputation in the cooperative banking sector.

On the occasion of World Cooperation Year 2025, Godavari Urban Multistate Cooperative Credit Society was honored with the prestigious Green World Co-Pride Award.
The award was presented at Pune at an event jointly organized by Green World and Cosmos Bank for outstanding work in the cooperative sector.
Maharashtra State Cooperative Minister Namdar Balasaheb Patil, along with other dignitaries, presented the award.
The honor was accepted by Secretary Adv. Ravindra Ragate and senior officers of Godavari Urban.
Founder Namdar Hemant Patil and Chairperson Rajshree Patil congratulated the entire team and members for this achievement.
